Roots Hall is a football stadium located in Southend-on-Sea, Essex, England. The stadium is the home ground of the National League team Southend United. With a capacity of 12,392, however currently restricted to 11,409, Roots Hall is the largest football stadium in Essex. During the early 21st century there was lengthy discussion of a new 22,000-seat stadium at Fossetts Farm, but a change of club ownership in 2024 ended prospects of that development, with the new Southend United owners instead planning a redevelopment of Roots Hall, part-funded by housing developments at Fossetts Farm.

The Vetch Field was a football stadium in Swansea, Wales, and was the home ground of Swansea City A.F.C. from the club’s founding until its closure in 2005. Opened in 1912, the ground held upwards of 30,000 at its peak, with this reduced to around 12,000 at the time of closure. The Hawthorns is an all-seater football stadium in West Bromwich, in the Black Country borough of Sandwell, West Midlands, England, with a capacity of 27,087. It has been the home of Championship club West Bromwich Albion since 1900, when it became the sixth ground to be used by the club. The Hawthorns was the first Football League ground to be built in the 20th century, opening in September 1900 after construction work took only 4 months. The official record attendance at The Hawthorns stands at 64,815, set in March 1937.

Following the Games, it was rebuilt for multi-purpose use and now serves primarily as the home of football club West Ham United, who became anchor tenants from the 2016 season. UK athletics are the other tenants in the stadium and host a round of the World Athletics Diamond League each year, known as the London Grand Prix, sometimes called the London Anniversary Games.

The Boleyn Ground, more often referred to as Upton Park, was a football stadium in Upton Park, East London, England. It was the home of West Ham United from 1904 to 2016, and was briefly used by Charlton Athletic in the early 1990s. The seating capacity of the ground at closure was 35,016.

From the 2016–17 season, West Ham United have played their home matches at London Stadium in nearby Stratford. The last first-class match played at the Boleyn Ground was on 10 May 2016, a 3–2 West Ham United win in the Premier League against Manchester United.

The stadium was demolished in 2016 to make way for a new development.
